Posizione:

We’re looking for a Certification & Compliance Engineer to join the Technology Department to contribute to the Certification & Compliance Engineering office activities. The Certification & Compliance Engineer will be in-charge of analyzing international product and system standard (e.g. IEC, UL, IEEE, NFPA, AS, UNI, CEI EN, ect.) on:

• Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) with lithium-ion technology;
• Power Converter System (PCS) and Low voltage cabinet;
• Power transformer and Medium voltage cabinet;
• Auxiliary system as fire fighting and HVAC.

Tasks and Duties:

• International product and system standard study, analysis and application;
• Preparation of technical documentation (guidelines, test reports and technical dossier);
• Test bench preparation and support;
• Performs measurement with laboratory instrumentations;
• Coordination with external laboratory and certification body;
• EMC, safety and grid code requirements;
• Risk analysis on BESS products and projects (e.g. HAZID, HAZOP and SWIFT);
• Reliability, Availability and Maintainability (RAM study), FMEA, FMECA, FTA on BESS;
• Support to tech-sales team in preparing technical documents for BID submission regarding the standard compliance;
• Follow the execution projects from the detailed design to the system certification (e.g. IEC 62933-5-2 and UL 9540);
• Follow the FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and SAT (Site Acceptance Test) activities on BESS product and system;
• Design and develop new products working with the R&D team according to international standard up to product certification;
• Basic knowledge of automatic fire detection, fire suppression and fire alarm systems design is appreciated.

Requisiti:

• Master Degree in Electrical Engineering;
• At least 2 years of experience with proven experience in field;
• A solid background in electrical engineering;
• Knowledge in battery energy storage system and power converter systems;
• Experience with test laboratory and certification body;
• Familiar with international product and system standard (e.g. IEC, UL, other);
• Experience in EMC, safety and grid code standard application;
• Experience with measuring instrumentation;
• Knowledge of power systems, power electronics principles and components is appreciated;
• Good working knowledge of English. Other languages are considered a plus.
