Cloud Azure BI Specialist:
CLOUD AZURE BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE SPECIALIST

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Play a critical role in supporting the MSC’s global BI platform, including SSAS, Power BI, Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Data Factory
Identify potential issues and proactively propose solutions and improvements
Interact with the BI teams regarding work requests submitted, participate in the creation of new policies, procedures, projects, and processes.
Participate in defining, refining, and implementing best practices and standards
Evaluate, document, and recommend data-related software products within technical architecture framework

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

Required:
5+ years of experience in BI development/DBA/Data architect or similar role
Hands on experience on Azure platform: Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake Gen2, Azure Analysis Services
Advanced knowledge of T-SQL
Solid knowledge of data movement/ migration from one data store to another using (ETL) technologies such as Azure Data Factory, SSIS or other ETL tools
Hands on experience on supporting/troubleshooting tabular models or Power BI dataset with large and complex datasets

Preferred:
Knowledge of Power BI services, gateways management
Working knowledge of Power Shell scripting to automate tasks and monitoring
Knowledge of SQL Server Change Data Capture
CI/CD delivery using code management, configuration management and automation tools such as Git Hub or VSTS
Any other programming language or Azure tools knowledge is a plus such as (azure automation, logic app, Azure DB, Spark, python, KQL)
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
