We are currently seeking a Hardware Engineer to join our dynamic team in Castel Guelfo, Italy!


This position is in charge to design electrical PCBA: schematics; component selection. Develop the critical layouts of the new PCB (impedance matching, leakage minimization) and validate the assembled prototypes. Define the tests to validate the design and write proper documentation. Motivate the team members and guarantee the correct flow of information to avoid misunderstanding and lack of clarity.
The hardware engineering team is in charge to design the control boards, system electrical drawings, sustain the product in production and in field working with manufacturing and tech-support. Evaluate alternative components and solutions that eventually can be adopted during the life of the products to reduce the cost, optimize production. Provide technical support in case the customer requires. Analyze specific applications providing active support and service.


What kind of work will you be doing?

• His/her works with the Manufacturing team and provide the product test specification and support during the life of the product.
• His/her works or drives external services in developing schematics and layout of PCBs.
• Cooperate with other engineering functions during the definition of the product specification.
• Support the testing team for the definition of the test plan and review the test results.
Produce technical documentation in line with the process requirements such as drawings, component specification

What will make you successful?

• High power PCBA LAY OUT design skills.
• Good knowledge on electronics components.
• Knowledge of CAD tools for electronics design such as ORCAD or Mentor Graphics with any experience in circuit drawing and PCB design.
• Excellent planning and communication skills are required.
• Good team working attitude and communication.
• Customer oriented and availability to travel.
• Good English language knowledge.
• Technical diploma in electronics subjects.
• University degree Electronic Engineering is a plus.
Experience in equivalent areas (e.g., UPS, Power converter or low voltage electrical distribution) is a plus.
