**Overview: **
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Infotainment Platform Developer to join our onsite team. The ideal candidate will have 8 to 10 years of expertise in developing infotainment systems for automotive environments, with a strong focus on audio and video functionalities. Proficiency in Linux, C, and C++ programming languages is essential for this role.

Location : Trasimeno/Turin, Italy

**Responsibilities: **

1. **Platform Development:** Design, develop, and maintain automotive infotainment platforms, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and compatibility with diverse hardware configurations.

2. **Audio and Video Integration:** Focus on integrating audio and video functionalities into the infotainment platform, including codec integration, multimedia playback, streaming, and synchronization.

3. **System Optimization:** Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance, memory utilization, and power efficiency, ensuring a seamless user experience.

4. **Compatibility Testing:** Conduct rigorous testing to verify platform compatibility with various automotive hardware components, operating systems, and external devices.

5. **Documentation:** Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including specifications, design documents, and test plans, to facilitate collaboration and ensure code maintainability.

6. **Code Review:** Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and quality guidelines, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

**Requirements: **

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.

2. Proven experience in automotive infortainment platform development, with a focus on audio and video functionalities.

3. Proficiency in C and C++ programming languages, with a strong understanding of object-oriented design principles and software development methodologies.

4. Solid experience with Linux-based development environments, including kernel configuration, device drivers, and system debugging tools.

5. Familiarity with multimedia frameworks such as GStreamer, FFmpeg, or similar libraries for audio and video processing.

6. Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) and standards (AUTOSAR, GENIVI) is a plus.

7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

8. Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
