You will report to the EMEA Portfolio Solutions Manager, who fosters a leadership style that emphasizes autonomy, empowerment, and open communication. This approach encourages team members to engage proactively, share insights, and contribute to decision-making. The role is remote, allowing flexibility, with no requirement to go into the office, although occasional in-person meetings may be necessary.
This position requires travel 1-2 times per month to meet with customers and engage with cross-functional teams. This travel will be integral to understanding customer needs and building strong relationships, ensuring you serve as an effective bridge between customers and engineering teams.
- Serve as the main liaison between customers and engineering teams, ensuring customer needs are effectively communicated.
- Engage in customer-facing activities, demonstrating technical expertise while building strong business relationships.
- Support sales and marketing teams by providing insights into customer requirements and market trends.
- Utilize knowledge of unified storage technologies to influence customer decisions and advocate for Nutanix solutions.
- Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities and develop strategies for capturing market share.
- Establish a strong network with existing customers to foster trust and become a go-to advisor for their storage needs.
- Achieve defined performance metrics through effective customer engagement and market development initiatives.
- 10+ years of experience of relevant experience in Software pre-sales and technical sales.
- Superior knowledge of current and emerging storage architectures (FC, i SCSI, NAS, OSD, SAN).
- Strong knowledge of SMB, NFS, S3 Protocols.
- Proven customer-facing experience requiring technical expertise and business acumen.
- Ability to qualify opportunities independently and influence customer decisions.
- Self-motivated with the ability to gather information on lost deals.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with sales, marketing, and engineering teams.
- Spanish language skills are a plus.
