Job Function:
Work with GSAM Tokyo Chief Operating Officer as Business Unit Manager to support the GSAM Tokyo business through business administration, with a primary focus on management reporting, as well as leading cross-divisional projects and maintaining management financial database/CRM systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze the periodical sales and expense reports

• Maintain the management database

• Handle ad-hoc report requests from regional and global management

• Involvement in annual budget preparation processes

• Coordinate cross departmental / regional projects

• Assist with local entity’s administration

• Work with Executive Office and regional client relationships

• Process enhancement for reporting of strategic metrics
  

Basic Qualifications

• Good Excel, Word and Power Point ability

• Fluent level speaking and writing in Japanese and English

• Knowledge of financial or strong numerical ability to handle data and forecasts

• Strong communication skills, ability to work with numerous internal stakeholders both locally and globally

• Experience in asset management business / financial industry is plus

• Experience with CRM Systems (Salesforce), BI tools (Qlik dashboards) and Oracle Systems (Essbase) is plus

• Project management experience, including managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced team-oriented environment, identifying scope, target timelines, level of effort and conducting calls to gather consensus across various stakeholder teams.
