Director, Conciliations and Post Audit Processing

Minimum Qualifications

Admission to the New York State Bar; and four years of recent full-time responsible, relevant, satisfactory legal experience subsequent to admission to any bar, eighteen months of which must have been in the supervision of other attorneys, in an administrative, managerial or executive capacity, or performing highly complex and significant legal work.

Incumbents must remain Members of the New York State Bar in good standing for the duration of this employment.

Preferred Skills

- Experience and expertise in managing all aspects of complex tax audit case resolutions. - Strong knowledge of a wide range of NYC Business Income and Excise taxes, the audit process and rules, business income and excise tax laws and rules applicable to New York City, and processes and laws involving tax case resolutions. - Experience working with computer systems in connection with Audit, in particular DOF's Business Tax System, and knowledge of processing of payments and adjustments within computer systems. - Demonstrated interest in working to make improvements to processes using technology. - Strong written and oral communication skills, attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively.
