Essential Duties:
Successful applicants will teach adults’ and kids' classes five days a week (three weekdays, as well as both Saturday and Sunday).
Teaching materials are provided.
Qualification Requirements:
Interviews for candidates passing initial screenings will be conducted online.
Instructor Qualification Program (IQP) Requirements:
Visa Requirements:
Berlitz Japan is accepting applications for instructor positions in the languages listed in the title for our Language Centers in the Kansai areas (Kyoto, Osaka, and Kobe). Instructors will be based in the Other Languages unit and travel to different locations throughout the day.

We are seeking instructors for our international team who
Interview Requirements:
- are native (or native fluent) speakers in the languages listed in the title
- are dynamic, mature and professional
- are culturally sensitive and have excellent organizational and communication skills
- are looking to work for a minimum of one year
- have a minimum of BA or BS degree
Interviews for candidates passing initial screenings will be conducted online.
Instructor Qualification Program (IQP) Requirements:
Applicants successful in the interview process must complete the Instructor Qualification Program (IQP) before starting work. Full details about the IQP will be given in the first interview.
Visa Requirements:
Visa sponsorship for new applicants is not currently available. You must currently reside in Japan and have a visa or permit that allows you to work. However, instructors who become employed, meet basic professional standards, and fulfill the criteria for visa sponsorship may eventually be eligible.
