Position: Oracle Web Logic Server Administrator

Job Overview:
This role will provide in-depth expertise, guidance, and hands-on support to manage, maintain, and optimize a complex Oracle Web Logic environment. The selected candidate will ensure that our Web Logic infrastructure is secure, scalable, and efficiently serving enterprise applications. The Consultant may be required to work weekends or after hours for scheduled patching or troubleshooting as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and administer Oracle Web Logic Server environments.
• Monitor and maintain server health, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Apply patches, updates, and configurations to optimize the Web Logic server environment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues to provide timely resolutions.
• Work closely with development teams to support deployment and ensure seamless integration.
• Document processes, configurations, and system changes.
• Support Web Logic clustering, load balancing, and performance tuning.
• Participate in after-hours support as required, including weekends for maintenance and troubleshooting.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Extensive experience with Oracle Web Logic Server administration (installation, configuration, monitoring).
• Strong knowledge of Web Logic clustering, load balancing, and high-availability strategies.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting Web Logic server-related issues and performance tuning.
• Experience with system upgrades, patch management, and maintenance tasks.
• Familiarity with other middleware technologies (e.g., Oracle SOA, OSB) is a plus.
• Knowledge of UNIX/Linux operating systems and shell scripting.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Oracle databases and associated technologies.
• Knowledge of ITIL or other best practices for IT service management.

Work Conditions:

• This role may require weekend and after-hours work for scheduled patching, maintenance, or troubleshooting as needed.
• The Fund will not reimburse for any travel expenses.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $55.00 - $75.00 per hour
