Day to Day
The Staffing Incubator team is looking for a Japan-based Software Engineer II with expertise in Software Engineering, Data Science, and Machine Learning Engineering. This team's primary focus lies in improving sister companies' Staffing business productivity, by curating matching solutions between jobseekers and jobs with ML / AI technologies. This is a unique opportunity to work across Recruit Holdings to drive innovation and deliver exceptional results with cutting-edge technologies in our staffing businesses.
Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable software solutions integrating machine learning models.
• Collaborate with other cross-functional team members in an agile, face-paced environment (e.g., ship early, ship often, and iterate)
• Engage in code reviews, ensuring high standards of code quality and cohesiveness.
• Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to align software solutions with business needs.
• Mentor junior software engineers in your team in the software development best practices

求める人材:

• 2+ years of “hands-on” industry experience as a software engineer using at least one of the popular programming languages: Python, Java, Kotlin, C++, Go, Rust, etc
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• Experience with ML centered product development such as search engines, recommender systems, etc
• Exceptional problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with excellent verbal and written communication.
• [nice-to-have] Experience with modern software development best practices (such as CI/CD and containerization) and cloud technologies (AWS with terraform preferred)

2 days off per week: Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays off
Paid vacation: 16 days given upon joining the company
Open vacation system (Open PTO): With the manager's permission, you can take additional paid leave even if you have used up all of your paid leave (16 days given at the time of joining the company).
Parental leave: Full-time employees can take 26 weeks of continuous paid parental leave or 6 weeks of non-continuous paid parental leave, and the salary paid during the leave is the same as the basic salary.

固定残業代あり：年俸 ￥11,530,000 〜 ￥16,710,000は1か月当たりの固定残業代￥270,000〜￥390,000（50時間相当分）を含む。50時間を超える残業代は追加で支給する。
