American Engineering Corporation provides maintenance and construction support to American Bases throughout Japan.
We are currently looking for an experienced Safety Inspector to join our team in Iwakuni. This individual will work alongside our engineers and technicians to oversee on-site work performance.
【Objectives】
・Ensure all safety protocols are being followed at work sites.
・Perform daily safety meetings before start of work.
・Prepare and maintain daily safety reports.

【License】
・Japanese Driver's License
*You can apply if currently you do not have it. But you have to get the license once we offer the position.
【Experience】
・OSHA 30-hour Safety Course (or Japanese equivalent) with 5 years related experience.
・Written and verbal communication skills English and Japanese preferred.
勤務時間・曜日:
【Working Hours】
Mon.-Fri.　08:00～17:00（1-hour breaktime included）
Overtime work: approx. 10 h/month
休暇・休日:
Annual holidays: 120 days
two days off per week (Saturdays, Sundays and the days determined by the company)
Paid Leave: 10 days granted after 6 months of employment

You will basically be working at the construction sites on Iwakuni base.
Smoking is strictly prohibited indoors. Outdoor smoking areas are available.

給与:
Base salary: 210,000 yen to 270,000 yen (monthly salary)
[Allowances]
Qualification allowance: 5,000-50,000 yen (monthly) Various qualifications are subject to receive the allowance, paid depending on other conditions
Overtime allowance: paid in 1-minute increments
Commuting allowance: paid according to company regulations (commuting distance 2km or more, up to 30,000 JPY/month) *free parking lot is available
Nighttime allowance
Bonus: paid twice a year (based on performance and evaluation. 2.5 months' salary from previous year)
Salary increase: once a year
*Theoretical annual salary: 3.2 million yen to 4.1 million yen (including overtime pay)
