Job title: Housing Coordinator / Case Manager- Brooklyn, NY
As a Housing Coordinator, you play a direct role in saving the lives of our patients each day by providing and promoting an environment of long-term recovery. You will partner with the Clinical Director and Executive Director to establish and maintain a therapeutic environment and routine for our residents.
Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Team managers and Team members to establish and maintain a therapeutic environment and routine for our residents.
• Provide leadership, supervision, and treatment to staff who are employed in the day time hours of 7:30am - 7:00pm.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, individual counseling, and or group counseling as needed.
• Complete all required paperwork and paperwork delays tasks.
• Other tasks as assigned by the Director and/or Supervisor.
• The Housing Coordinators will inspect apartments and rooms to ensure they meet habitability standards and will:
• Establish and maintain effective communication with DHS, HRA housing providers, landlords and other external partners providing housing to formerly homeless households.

Requirements:

• Experience working in a Shelter required
• Minimum Associates Degree
• Schedule
• : M-F 9-5
