Adjunct Faculty - Business Administration (Local Applicants Only)

for the 2024-2025 Academic year
The American International University (AIU) invites applications for a full-time Faculty position to teach courses on the Business Administration degree program. The successful candidate will be expected to teach Microeconomics and Macroeconomics, as well as core courses from the Accounting program.
Reasonably extensive teaching at degree level, research and project/dissertation supervision experience would be expected, in the candidate’s core areas of expertise. Candidates will also be required to demonstrate an active interest in scholarly activity. In addition, a track record of program administration and academic course leadership would be advantageous.
Candidates should possess the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures, and be able to work within a small program, specialized in personal attention. Also, we expect active participation with the development of undergraduate programs, curriculum development and mentoring. We welcome candidates who will diversify our curriculum and our faculty in regard to race, gender, and ethnicity.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. degree in Business Administration or related fields.
- Effective communication skills in English.
- University teaching experience.
- Commitment to excellence in teaching and scholarship
- Interest and experience working effectively within a diverse university community.
- Ability and willingness to work collaboratively with faculty from a variety of disciplines.
About American International University:
