General responsibilities:-
As a baker or pastry chef you should be able to prepare a variety of baked goods, including bread, cakes, pastries, and desserts. Should be able to measure and mix ingredients, knead dough, and monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure quality. Precision is crucial, as bakers often follow specific recipes and adjust based on ingredient quality or customer preferences. you should also design decorative elements, especially for cakes and specialty pastries. Beyond baking, you should have knowledge of handling inventory, maintain clean workspaces, and sometimes work directly with customers.
