JOB PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE / ROLE:
to receive and dispatch orders for products or deliveries and create trucking routes that keep costs down but meet customer scheduling needs. Ownership in driving delivery process alignment and creation of workarounds.
Key Responsibilities
1. Receive and dispatch orders for products or deliveries.
2. Create trucking delivery routes and maintain contact with drivers throughout the day.
3. Collaborate with the department head to modify the area zoning and the daily routes to meet the customer needs.
4. Adjust to last minute changes and work with drivers to schedule emergency pick-up or delivery for clients when necessary.
5. Cultivate strong relationships with drivers and customers to reduce the stress that comes with last minute schedule changes
6. Monitor any sudden route changes or road construction issues and coordinate with drivers to establish new routes for timely deliveries.
7. Follow up& track the order pass with the drivers.
8. Initiate the customer feedback call.
9. Onsite monitoring to the driver’s performance, attendance and attitude and report any staff noncompliance to the dept. head& HR Dept.
10. Conduct a regular and random check visits to evaluate the delivery service level.
11. Handle and follow up the driver’s duties and vacations based on the staff location map&
staff availability.
12. Ensure the drivers adherence to the company dress code.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Minimum Qualifications and Experience: High school diploma or a Bachelor’s degree.
Years of Experience: 3 years’ experience in the same filed (logistics is preferred).
Language: Arabic/ English(optional)
Nationality Preferred: Arab nationality: Fluent English Language or other Nationalities known at least the first 4 coming language and all of it together is preferred basic Arabic /Fluent English / Basic Command of Hindi / Basic Command of Urdu / Basic Command of Sinhala / Basic Command of Tamil / Basic Command of Bengali.
