We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sous Chef to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Japanese cuisine, a passion for culinary arts, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and daily kitchen operations.
• Prepare and present high-quality Japanese dishes in accordance with our standards.
• Supervise kitchen staff and ensure a harmonious working environment.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and adhere to food safety regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in Japanese cooking techniques.
• Collaborate with the Head Chef on special events and seasonal menus.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role, preferably in Japanese cuisine.
• Strong knowledge of traditional Japanese cooking techniques and ingredients.
• Culinary degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Passion for food and a commitment to quality.
