We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sous Chef to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Japanese cuisine, a passion for culinary arts, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to KD600.000 per month
Experience:
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and daily kitchen operations.
- Prepare and present high-quality Japanese dishes in accordance with our standards.
- Supervise kitchen staff and ensure a harmonious working environment.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and adhere to food safety regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in Japanese cooking techniques.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef on special events and seasonal menus.
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role, preferably in Japanese cuisine.
- Strong knowledge of traditional Japanese cooking techniques and ingredients.
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Passion for food and a commitment to quality.
