Accountant (m/f/x)
Main duties:
- Entering and checking invoices on the basis of manual and automated orders
- Carry out monthly and annual closings in accordance with current procedures and in strict compliance with established deadlines
- Verify and justify accounts
- Create, book and monitor asset accounts
- Record and monitor cash accounts
- Drawing up VAT returns and other Luxembourg and foreign declarations in accordance with the procedures in force, if training has been received
- Be the main point of contact for all general accounting questions Carry out various administrative tasks as required by the department
- Comptabiliser et vérifier les factures sur base de commandes manuelles et automatisées
- Effectuer les clôtures mensuelles et annuelles selon les procédures en vigueur dans le strict respect des délais établis
- Vérifier et justifier les comptes
- Créer, comptabiliser et suivre les comptes d’assets
- Comptabiliser et suivre les comptes caisses
- Etablir les déclarations de TVA et autres, luxembourgeoises et étrangères selon les procédures en vigueur si formation reçue
- Etre l’interlocuteur privilégié pour toute question en matière de comptabilité générale
- Effectuer diverses tâches administratives en fonction des besoins du département
Required profile:
Minimum requirements for the position
- Secondary school diploma in accounting or proven experience
- Proficiency in the use of standard office software
- Fluency in English, French or German (spoken & written)
- Ability to close projects on time
- An affinity for figures
- A good ability to summarise and analyse
- Be rigorous, organised and precise
- Good communication skills and customer focus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in the department's specific programmes
Ideal candidate
- Previous similar experience
- Knowledge of the department's software (= mastery of the department's specific programmes)
- Knowledge of Luxembourgish and any other language will be considered an asset
Critères minimaux requis pour le poste
- Etre détenteur d’un diplôme de fin d’études secondaires en comptabilité ou expérience confirmée
- Maîtriser les outils bureautiques courants
- Maîtriser l’anglais, le français ou l’allemand (parlé & écrit)
- Etre capable de clôturer dans les délais prévus
- Avoir une affinité pour les chiffres
- Avoir un bon esprit de synthèse et une bonne capacité d’analyse
- Etre rigoureux, organisé et précis
- Posséder de bonnes capacités de communication et être orienté clients
- Savoir travailler de manière autonome et en équipe
- Maîtriser les programmes spécifiques du département
- Avoir une expérience similaire antérieure
- Connaitre les logiciels du département (= maîtriser les programmes spécifiques du dpt)
- La connaissance du luxembourgeois et de toute autre langue sera considérée comme un atout
