Azure Infrastructure Engineer (Short-Term Contract)

Purpose and Objective of the Position
- Develop and maintain Azure infrastructure, ensuring security and reliability are maintained to best standards.
- Adopt a proactive approach toward new developments from business or internal IT.
- Explore new services in Azure, define their purpose, and propose solutions.
- Contribute to Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP) scenarios in Azure.
- Perform Business-as-Usual (BAU) tasks in Azure.
- Test and implement Azure Policies and manage Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) on Azure.
- Work with Infrastructure as Code (Ia C) to deploy resources.
- Analyze and optimize Azure resources for cost-efficiency and performance.
- Document and track tasks using Azure Dev Ops.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure required up-time, efficiency, and stability of Azure infrastructure in alignment with the IT team.
- Perform planned maintenance and control the creation of resources, both manually and through automation.
- Collaborate with IT Operations to automate daily tasks, minimizing human error.
- Optimize the Azure architecture to meet business, security, and performance needs.
- Maintain and monitor the IT infrastructure and co-manage BCP and DRP scenarios.
- Evaluate requests and assign appropriate RBAC roles in Azure.
- Analyze Azure consumption and recommend solutions to reduce costs.
- Use Ia C (Bicep/ARM) to deploy Azure resources and document work in Service Now and Azure Dev Ops.
