For one of our main clients based in Luxembourg - an European Institution, we are looking for a Senior Security Officer with experience information protection for European Institutions to join the client's information security team in the area of financial supervision, fraud prevention and crime investigation. You will be part of the IT, Security and Corporate Services Unit, Security team. The Information Security function is part of the IT, Security and Corporate Services Unit and is responsible for the definition of overall projects’ security requirements, development and implementation of a security risk management framework, the monitoring of the implementation of security measures, Information security incident response and the monitoring of information security alerts. The information security team is also responsible to monitor EU regulations applicable and translate the regulation statements into security requirements for the protection of Classified Information and Sensitive Non-Classified Information against unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure.
The position is 100% onsite from the client's premises in Luxembourg and office presence is required.

More specifically, you will be responsible for...
- Provision of risk assessments and security measures for IT solutions, within running projects;
- Produce architecture security designs;
- Evaluation of security products and tools for information systems;
- Assistance in the design, communication and implementation of information security policies, controls and monitoring measures deriving from client’s Regulatory, Legal and Contractual frameworks;
- Support the implementation of security tools for the monitoring of the Information Security Management System through performance KPIs;
- Management of security tests;
- Provision of security audits of systems, infrastructure and databases.
Are you the perfect match?
- Good knowledge and previous experience within EU institutions, in relation to the protection of Information;
- Good knowledge of information systems security controls;
- Good knowledge of IT security standards, namely ISO/IEC 27000 Series and NIST;
- Proven hands-on experience with SPLUNK, SOC and Azure;
- Knowledge of security management methodologies and tools;
- Strong capacity in preparing and writing assessments and studies;
- Ability to apply high quality standards
- Ability to draft high quality documentation, namely policies, procedures, standards and guidelines and adapt their presentation to multiple audiences;
- Capability of working in an international/multicultural environment;
- Advanced English – proficient communication skills, orally and in writing.
