Civil Engineering Project Leader

The role:
She/he will:
- Lead feasibility studies and elaborate technical specifications of the projects
- Elaborate the business case and the project scope in collaboration with the business owners
- Coordinate the project team (Internal/External resources) from initiation to final completion
- Manage the requests for quotations and preselection of contractors (Tendering, contracting, follow-up)
- Define and follow the project cost-breakdown and cash-out plan
- Monitor & prepare reporting (safety, cost, schedule, progress) for the project steering committees or site CEO/Segment Executive
- Prepare the necessary files for the Capex allocation, such as IAC (Investment Allocation Committee)
- Elaborate the post-investment reviews and ensure that all projects are completed according to PM Guidelines.
- Consider safety aspect among project definition and Demonstrate exemplary behaviour, inside the company and in all interactions with stakeholders
- Master of Civil Engineering
- 5-7 years of experience in Civil Engineering, operations, or maintenance in an industrial environment
- Min 5 years’ experience in project management
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects at once, to operate with a high degree of ambiguity, and to work with a flexible schedule
- Strong understanding of safety procedures: promoting and supporting actions towards Safety, Health and environment protection Languages: French is mandatory (fluent) & English (fluent) and German (professionally)
