SOX Compliance & Financial Controls Manager (m/f)
The role:
You will:
- Manage the development of the overall SOX methodology to ensure best practices are followed.
- Make recommendations for improvement and drive changes to both controls and processes.
- Provide guidance to management on internal controls, governance, risk, and compliance activities.
- Collaborate with process owners in development of action plans taken by management to remediate control deficiencies. Monitor and follow-up the remediation plan to completion as appropriate.
- Partner with management on the implementation of a new software (i.e. Audit Board) and business processes to ensure the relevant financial reporting risks are identified and controls implemented.
- Review the audit testing plans over in-scope business controls.
- Interact and coordinate with the Company’s external audit firm. Partner with the Internal Audit program to ensure effective allocation of resources across the complete internal audit plan.

Must have:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance is required. Master’s degree is a plus.
- CIA and/or CPA/ACCA highly desired; CISA and CFE considered a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive industry or public accounting experience (preferably with the Big 4 and/or similar experience in corporate Internal Audit).
- Excellent knowledge of internal audit standards, procedures and techniques.
- Ability to effectively manage several projects in multiple locations and manage time and the team effectively.
- Effective oral and written communication skills and the ability to write clear and concise audit reports.
- Languages: English (native/fluent), any other language is an advantage
