Clerk Data Management

- Input of data according to instructions of customs and export control entities
- Take necessary actions with Cargolux Stations worldwide to get issues solved & shipments released
- Coordinate with other departments within Cargolux
- Proceed with shipments status checks for every flight to or through the US
- Instruct and share processes with the handling agent and Cargolux Stations
- Assist customers & Stations when required
- Keep all the parties informed about the status/condition of their freight status
- Maintain records of activities
- Ensure system updates & transmissions are processed in due time
- Secondary technical education or accomplished apprenticeship with focus on logistics or equivalent (e.g. Kaufleute für Spedition und Logistikdienstleistungen preferred)
- Previous experience and knowledge in a similar position could be considered as an advantage
- Be fluent in English. French or German will be considered as an advantage
- Have good knowledge of standard IT products, MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Ability to work on shifts in a team or alone
- Ability to establish and maintain good customer relations
- Ability to perform error free and without constant supervision
- Strong time management skills and being able to perform tasks within tight deadlines
- A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection
- Be flexible with working hours and ready to work weekends / legal holidays
- Working days Monday-Sunday, 4-5 days/week, working hours between 6 am and 10 pm
- Standby coverage or night shift may be required for out of office hours
- Position based in Luxembourg
- Temporary contract of 12 months
