Developer Back End (SQL Server & REST API) (m/f)

Your next challenge

Focus on software engineering while developing a strong expertise in the financial industry (Banking, Investment Funds, etc.) & collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical deliverables
Work with data management, data engineering techniques, data science and data analytics to ensure the smooth operations of our data platforms and solutions
Develop data intensive back-end application and dealing with APIs and heavy data processing. The main technologies used being SQL Server, Python & Microsoft Azure Services
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical deliverables
Use best practices for development lifecycle: TDD, Clean code, QA and CI/CD
Work hand in hand with our financial experts
Provide visibility to the stakeholders on the scope, progress and issues in the solution delivery process

Your skills

Hold a Degree in Computer Science or other relevant field
Have at least 3 to 5 years of experience
Be able to write code that your peers praise for its elegance and readability: your code is written with testability and optimization as a prime target
Are familiar with code quality and continuous delivery
Be keen to learn new technologies and the business world
Have strong experience with: Python, T-SQL, Data Modelling, REST API (fast API, flask), OAuth, SSO, Microsoft Azure, Micro services, Git
Have experience with the following is considered an asset: AWS, GCP, Docker, Dev Ops or Jenkins, Snowflake, dbt ETL, Databricks, Playwright
Have a collaborative mind-set, enjoy sharing knowledge and succeed as a team
Have exceptional communication skills
Have strong analytical and organisational skills
Be fluent in English, French is considered an asset
