As a Procurement Manager, you’ll play a critical role in shaping our procurement strategies within the IT and Enterprise categories. You’ll lead negotiations, manage relationships with key suppliers, and drive cost-saving initiatives—all while ensuring that our sourcing decisions align with Vodafone’s long-term vision. You'll be part of a high-performing, collaborative team where innovation, diversity, and inclusion are at the heart of everything we do. Whether you're negotiating high-profile global deals or supporting our sales team to win new Vodafone Business customers, you’ll have a tangible impact on revenue growth and customer experience. In this role, you will:

As a Procurement Manager, you’ll play a critical role in shaping our procurement strategies within the IT and Enterprise categories. You’ll lead negotiations, manage relationships with key suppliers, and drive cost-saving initiatives—all while ensuring that our sourcing decisions align with Vodafone’s long-term vision. You'll be part of a high-performing, collaborative team where innovation, diversity, and inclusion are at the heart of everything we do. Whether you're negotiating high-profile global deals or supporting our sales team to win new Vodafone Business customers, you’ll have a tangible impact on revenue growth and customer experience. In this role, you will:
- Develop innovative category strategies that drive value for Vodafone and its customers.
- Lead commercial negotiations and contract management with global suppliers to support our ambitious goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across various teams—Business, Technology, Supply Chain—to deliver results.
- Centralize and optimize spending targets, delivering savings while ensuring timely project execution.
- Contribute to the long-term category supplier roadmap and create sustainable, future-focused sourcing decisions.
- Support global contract management and governance processes, ensuring we meet our high standards of excellence.
Who you are
- Experience & Expertise: Significant experience in the IT/Telco industry, ideally with exposure to both global and local markets. Deep category expertise in IT Infrastructure, Software, Cloud, and Office IT, with a strong understanding of IT application services.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with tools like SAP, Ariba e Auction, and familiarity with autonomous sourcing tools. Strong ability to manage procurement tools and systems to drive efficiency.
- Leadership & Collaboration Skills: Exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and levels.Communication and presentation skills that allow you to confidently share insights, ideas, and recommendations.
- Strategic Thinking & Problem-Solving: Excellent reasoning skills and the ability to conceptualize complex problems and opportunities. Business acumen beyond traditional procurement; you’ll act as an advisor to your stakeholders, offering strategic insights into supplier markets.
- Flexibility & Adaptability: A flexible mindset, able to adapt to diverse projects, handle multiple tasks, and manage ambiguity with ease.
- Education and/or Experience: A Master’s degree or MBA in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or the
- Language Skills: Fluent English is essential (written and spoken), with additional languages (such as Italian, Spanish, or German) considered a plus!
