Head of Risk & Compliance-Leading International Firm

Head of Risk and Compliance : The Function

Serve as the subject-matter expert on regulatory frameworks such as AML-CTF, GDPR, DAC6, and international sanctions regimes.
Ensure the firm's practices comply with current and upcoming legal requirements.
Oversee the client onboarding process and ongoing compliance monitoring.
Support legal teams with the drafting and negotiation of client engagement terms.
Maintain GDPR registers, ensure compliance with data retention policies, and manage DAC6 notifications.
Maintain and update internal policies, templates, and risk assessments.
Respond to queries related to risk management, professional conduct, and complaints.
Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for staff, promoting a culture of compliance and risk awareness.

Head of Risk and Compliance : Your Profile

A Master's degree in Law, with at least 7 years of experience in risk management or compliance, ideally within an international environment or law firm in Luxembourg.
Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and legislation.
Proven leadership and team management experience.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Fluency in English and French.
A commitment to continuous learning and staying up-to-date with the latest developments in compliance and risk management.
