Join us as our Head of Technology Operations

• Recognised as the single point of contact for Technology in Luxemburg, you’ll manage the in-country technology function and quality delivery of technology services while contributing to the RBSI Luxembourg strategy and transformation
• We’ll look to you to develop and deliver a long-term strategy for the Luxembourg business and take the lead with IT financial management, IT risk management, and IT Luxembourg regulation and policy adherence
• You’ll benefit from considerable visibility and stakeholder interaction, working with country heads in Luxembourg and other senior stakeholders, and representing Technology for Luxemburg with both internal and external business partners

What you'll do

As our Head of Technology Operations, you’ll manage the day-to-day deliver of the Technology function, collaborating with other support function heads to deliver comprehensive cross-functional solutions and ensure a robust and strong IT control environment. You’ll generate a culture of continuous improvement through talent management, people development, and succession planning across country IT teams while consistently leading by example.

You’ll manage business stakeholder relationships to ensure ongoing improvement to country technology services delivery and you’ll oversee the resolution of all IT incidents, issues, audit points or residual risk actions for Luxemburg.

In addition to this, you’ll be responsible for:

• Managing third party IT service provider relationships as well as service scoping and delivery monitoring
• Ensuring local policy and procedures are in place and maintained to meet local business and regulatory requirements
• Providing strong support in terms of ICT regulatory and risk aspects in the context of the EWRMF
• Continuously reviewing the existing IT resource workload and responsibilities to achieve higher efficiency via consolidation, outsourcing, and other similar strategies
• Ensuring reporting and compliance with all relevant policies and legal obligations and proactively identifying and effectively managing any conduct risk to deliver key customer outcomes
• Managing the IT strategy input to regional and global plans, IT governance and reporting, and IT representation

The skills you'll need

We’re looking for someone able to build effective relationships with an array of stakeholders. You’ll have strong IT management skills and knowledge of key technology standards around ITIL, helpdesk, telecommunications, services delivery, and project management as well as application development and support.

• The drive to continually improve the way we operate
• Detailed knowledge of local regulatory requirements in a banking environment relating to technology, outsourcing, and information management in Luxemburg
