With over 50 nationalities represented, Arendt is committed to the well-being of its staff, serving the best interests of its clients, protecting the environment, and supporting education.Given the ongoing development of our firm, we are currently recruiting:Legal Compliance Analyst(Based in Hamm)The Legal Compliance Analyst will be responsible for evaluating and monitoring our company’s adherence to laws, regulations, and internal policies. This role involves identifying compliance risks, conducting checks, and providing recommendations to enhance our compliance framework. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to communicate complex legal concepts effectively.Your role:Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and analyse changes in laws and regulations relevant to our industry. Ensure that company practices and procedures comply with these legal requirements.Internal checks: Conduct regular checks of internal processes and documentation to identify potential compliance issues. Develop and implement corrective actions as needed.Policy Development: Assist in the creation and revision of company policies and procedures to ensure alignment with legal requirements and best practices.Training and Support: Provide training and support to employees on compliance-related matters. Develop educational materials and conduct workshops as necessary.Reporting: Prepare detailed compliance reports for management Contract Review: Review and analyse contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to ensure they meet legal and compliance standards. Provide recommendations for amendments to ensure contractual obligations are met and mitigate potential risks.Due Diligence: answer client’s questionnaire in relation with the legal compliance of our company Legal Documentation: Prepare and review legal documentation related to compliance, including policies, procedures, and internal guidelines.GDPR compliance : support the DPO in the day to day activities.Coordination with Support Departments: Work closely with all support departments, including Human Resources, Finance, IT, and Operations, to ensure cohesive implementation of compliance measures and address any compliance-related issues across the organization.Your profile:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional – CCEP) is a plus.Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a compliance or legal role.Skills: Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance principles. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in legal research and compliance management. Data protection knowledge.Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
