We are currently looking for a Legal Specialist to join our team at Am Bev (part of the AB In Bev family) in Luxembourg.
The Legal Specialist will play a critical role in providing advanced legal research, analysis, and support to the legal department. This position involves drafting and reviewing complex legal documents, conducting thorough legal research, and assisting in the development of legal strategies. This position will work closely with senior legal counsel and other stakeholders across the organization in different countries to ensure legal compliance and support the company's strategic objectives.

The role:
- Responsible for the analysis and approval of Financial Contracts, applying specific knowledge in the area of Contract Law and ensuring the Company's Contractual guidelines
- Coordination and/or execution of corporate acts
- Collection and review of corporate updates
- Coordination and/or execution of corporate acts of Corporate funds
- Definition and completion, together with the treasury team, of regulatory documents requested by banks
- Coordination and execution of regulatory activities (e.g. ultimate beneficial owner, regularization of asset management activity, KYC, AML, etc.)
- Support to the Legal department in different zones
Who we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in law, preferably with a Corporate Law Focus
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in corporate law, contract law, or regulatory compliance. Knowledge in South America/ Brazilian markets/ big companies, EU Law system/ Regulations is a plus
- Strong drafting and document review abilities with keen attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with competing deadlines
- Strong understanding of corporate governance and regulatory compliance
- Experience in handling complex legal issues related to mergers and acquisitions
- English & Portuguese as bonus. Spanish is a plus
- Advanced Office Skills (Word, Excel and Power Point)
- Ability to analyze complex legal issues and propose practical solutions
- Demonstrates high ethical standards and professionalism in handling confidential information
