Post-Doctoral Fellow in Experimental Systems Immunology

Training and Research Environment. The successful postdoc candidate will be embedded in a state-of-the-art laboratory at the Department of Infection and Immunity composed of ~100 staff members. The research team is a multidisciplinary and international unit with long-standing expertise in immunoageing and experimental systems immunology.

Key Skills, Demonstrated Experience and Qualifications:
- Successful Ph D (ideally Ph D awarded within 2 years; or expect to complete before Jan, 2025) in the area of immunology or molecular or cellular biology;
- Expected to have: hands-on experimental experience in cytometry analysis including cytometry data analysis;
- Expected to have: laboratory experience in immune cell isolation, culture, differentiation and related molecular and cellular experiments;
- Expected to have: hands-on mice handling experience;
- Expected to have: at least one first-author original publication in recognized international journal(s);
- Expected to have: professional English level;
- Good to have: fluent German or French or Dutch as a plus;
- Good to have: skills in large-scale data analysis (e.g., skilled in R);
- Self-motivated, open minded and curiosity-driven person, willing to work in a competitive, interdisciplinary, cooperative and international environment.
