The Account Executive typically oversees the financial and management reporting and managing all aspects of the finance department.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Able to manage and handle AP, AR and GL and able to manage full set of account.
2. Prepare invoices, billing statements, and financial reports.
3. Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
4. Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
5. Coordinate cash denomination for store operation / cashier
6. Preparing the annual statutory accounts
7. Managing the company’s financial systems
8. Providing commentary and analysis around the company’s performance to the management team
9. Providing financial advice to managers regarding initiatives to improve the company’s financial performance
10. Liaise and managing all internal and external audits and ensuring that any audit issues are resolved within the specified timeline.
11. To undertake and perform any other job functions as and when required.
Qualifications:
1. Work experience as an Account / Finance Executive or similar role
2. Possess at least a Diploma in Accounting
3. Familiarity with Finance system and Auto count.
4. The more common skills and attributes required to be successful in this role include:
· Minimum 3 years of accounting experience.
· Strong financial reporting skills and strong attention to detail.
· Good time management, able to meet deadlines, independent, self-motivated, proactive and positive working attitudes.
· Confident dealing with senior stakeholders.
· Prefer experience in FMCG and retail operation.
· Good communication and presentation skills.
· Good command of written and spoken in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
· Good in Microsoft office.
