Salary (Full-Time): RM1,700.00 - RM3,500.00 (Based on Experience)
Salary (Part-Time): RM8 - RM10 per hour (Based on Experience)

As a Cashier cum Barista with us, you will be responsible for managing transactions at the register, assisting customers with queries, and handling coffee and specialty drinks/food preparation. This role also involves general assistance with store duties, such as maintaining cleanliness and helping with stock management. The candidate should have prior experience in similar roles.
The position is shift-based. You will report to the Store Supervisor.
Job Description:
1. Cashier Duties:

• Handle customer purchases and ensure accurate pricing and record-keeping of all transactions.
• Process payments efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Greet customers warmly and assist with menu inquiries, promoting and recommending menu items.
• Maintain inventory and equipment by cleaning, troubleshooting, and scheduling repairs.
• Ensure a sanitary and organized work environment.

2. Barista Duties:

• Prepare beverages and specialty drinks per customer preferences and store menu.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the coffee area, including equipment care.
• Deliver high-quality beverages promptly and ensure excellent service.
• Prepare drinks like coffee, tea, artisan, and specialty beverages, including grinding and blending coffee beans.
• Conduct regular quality checks on coffee beans, milk, and other ingredients.

3. General Store Assistance:

• Restock shelves as needed to ensure product availability.
• Support the store during busy periods to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with deliveries and stock replenishment.
• Monitor inventory stock levels and report to the store supervisor.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with coffee brewing techniques and equipment is a plus.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
• A minimum of 3 months’ experience in a related field.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage and assist customers effectively.
• Excellent communication skills in Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, and English.
