Junior Account Assistant

Job Description:

Support day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Maintain organized and accurate accounting records.
To handle posting and processing entries to ensure all business transaction are recorded properly.
Ensure month end close duties are prioritized and deadline are delivered on time.
Handling AR & AP area of works together with accounts / finance department, and to support as at when required.
Handle ad-hoc assignments as and when required.

Requirements:

Min 1-2 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting
Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office: Words & Excel
Ability to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously and work independently with minimum supervision
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Familiar with SQL / Accounting software an added advantage.
Accountability, accepting absolute responsibility for all tasks assigned
Good in time management and able to meet deadlines
Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
Pro-active individual with a good working attitude, willing to learn & problem solving.
