We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at Moonlight Cake House in Sri Petaling, Kuala Lumpur. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for efficiently processing customer payments, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to the smooth operation of our popular cake shop. This is a full-time position with opportunities to grow within our dynamic hospitality business.
What you'll be doing

• Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Operate the cash register and point-of-sale system to accurately process customer transactions
• Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and other payment methods
• Provide information about our products and services to customers
• Maintain a clean and organised work area
• Assist with other customer service tasks as needed

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role, preferably in the hospitality or retail industry
• Strong numerical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team and independently
• Friendly, patient, and customer-oriented attitude
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia
