Corporate Comm Executive

Position Overview:
The Corporate Communications Executive is responsible for managing the college’s internal and external communications to enhance brand visibility, promote a positive image, and ensure effective communication strategies across all platforms. This role will work closely with the marketing and PR teams to craft messages that align with the university's goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Content Creation:
  • Develop and write compelling content for press releases, newsletters, social media, brochures, and websites.
  • Create speeches, presentations, and talking points for executives for public appearances and events.
  • Collaborate with departments to generate content that communicates the institution’s achievements.
  • Media Relations:
  • Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
  • Coordinate media coverage and respond to media inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Draft and distribute press releases to enhance the institution’s visibility in the education industry.
  • Brand Management:
  • Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all communication platforms.
  • Monitor and manage the institution’s reputation in public forums, including social media platforms.
  • Work with the design and marketing teams to ensure promotional materials align with the corporate brand.
  • Internal Communications:
  • Facilitate communication between management and staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Manage the internal newsletter and keep employees informed about university initiatives, achievements, and policies.
  • Event Management:
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage events such as press conferences, open days, graduation ceremonies, and community outreach programs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to organize and promote events that elevate the institution’s profile.
  • Crisis Management:
  • Assist in developing and implementing crisis communication plans.
  • Manage communication during emergencies or crises to protect the institution's reputation.
Requirements:
  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in corporate communications, PR, or related fields.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Proficiency in social media management and public relations tools.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
