• To check completeness of application form and documents.
• Review supporting income documents and calculate verified income accurately.
• To detect fraudulent application, tampered / suspicious documents and ensure timely fraud escalation to Fraud Management Unit.
• Perform loan approval within delegated approving authority limit.
• Rework appeal & match documents (previously incomplete) applications from sales.
• Effective and efficient decision making of loan application within the required TAT while adhering to existing credit underwriting guidelines and policies.
• To maintain good booking quality measured through IL / NCL rates.
• To provide recommendation for credit applications beyond the credit officer’s approving authority limit or where deviation approval is required.
• Perform verification on customer’s personal and/or employment information where required.
• To ensure customer’s complaint is being handled and resolved in a timely and professional manner.
• Any other task assigned by superior from time to time
• Timely reporting of suspicious money laundering activities. (If any)
• To lead and manage a team of credit evaluators
• To display good teamwork & interpersonal sensitivity to foster a positive and productive working environment.
• Ensure strict adherence to all credit policies, procedures, BNM guidelines, compliance & etc.

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce or equivalent.
• At least 1-2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Having CCP Certification is an advantage
