Criminal & Civil Legal Associate/Lawyer

Our firm is a middle scale firm situated at Petaling Jaya and a highly focused firm practising areas such as Civil and Criminal Litigation. We are looking for a self motivated, ambitious and self-driven Legal Associate to handle various portfolio for Criminal & Civil. You will be exposed to provide a broad spectrum of legal services under the supervision of Senior Lawyers.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Possesses a Bachelor of Law Degree.
  • Candidate must have been called to the Bar or have obtained CLP.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in other language(s) will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skill.
  • Energetic, motivated, well-organized, responsible and able to multitask and work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Must possess own transport.
  • Willing to travel to attend court cases including during weekend (if necessary).
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible in drafting & preparing cause papers, submissions
  • Conducting legal research and evidence gathering
  • To attend clients and other works assigned by the firm from time to time
  • Interested in general litigation and able to work independently with minimum supervision
  • To assist Senior Lawyer and attend court for Case Management, Hearing and other court related matters
  • Newly called to the Bar or CLP applicants are encouraged to apply
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM2,700.00 per month
