DIGITAL MARKETING LECTURER

  • Curriculum Development: Designing and updating course syllabus, lecture materials, assignments, and assessments to ensure relevance to current industry trends and best practices in digital marketing.
  • Teaching and Instruction: Delivering lectures, seminars, workshops, and tutorials on various topics within digital marketing, such as search engine optimization (SEO), social media marketing, email marketing, content strategy, digital advertising, analytics, and more.
  • Student Engagement and Support: Engaging students through interactive teaching methods, encouraging participation in discussions, providing guidance on projects and assignments, and offering academic support as needed.
  • Mentorship and Advising: Mentoring students on career paths within the digital marketing field, providing advice on internships, job opportunities, and professional development resources.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensuring the quality of education through regular course evaluations, feedback from students, and adherence to academic standards and institutional policies.
  • Professional Ethics: Upholding ethical standards in teaching, research, and interactions with students, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
Job Requirements:
  • Expertise: Strong knowledge of digital marketing concepts, tools, and strategies across various platforms like social media, search engines, email, and content marketing.
  • Industry Experience: Hands-on experience working in digital marketing roles, preferably in diverse sectors, to provide real-world insights to students.
  • Teaching Experience: Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts, engage students, and adapt teaching methods to different learning styles.
  • Credentials: Minimum Academic qualifications such as a ‘Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM)’ from Malaysian Skills Development Department or higher in digital marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Feedback and Evaluation: Ability to provide constructive feedback to students on their projects, assignments, and performance, helping them improve their skills and understanding of digital marketing concepts.
  • Industry Connections: Strong network within the digital marketing industry, which can be leveraged for guest lectures, internships, and job placements for students.
  • Innovative Teaching Methods: Willingness to incorporate new technologies, case studies, simulations, and hands-on projects to create an engaging and interactive learning environment.
  • Passion and Enthusiasm: Genuine passion for digital marketing and a desire to inspire and mentor the next generation of marketers.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
