REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Project Management (Consultancy)
• Willing to travel and possess own transport.
• Knowledge of Spreadsheet software, Word processing software, Auto CAD, and Microsoft Project.
• MUST be a registered Engineer with Board of Engineers Malaysia
• Good communication and writing skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English
• Multi-tasking and problem solving skills A team player and capable of managing subordinates efficiently
• Experience in BIM Implementation preferred
• Well verse in Electrical & ELV design for building construction works.
• Knowledge and experience with local Malaysian Authority process

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the planning and coordination of project development works from conceptualization, design, construction to completion within established budget, schedule and quality standards.
• Must be able to work closely and collaboratively with team members of different disciplines such as civil, structural, architectural, etc. to successfully coordinate and manage contractors to meet the Client’s project goals, budget, and timeline.
• Will manage, lead and assist a group of design team in identifying critical design interfaces between M&E systems and architectural and structural design.
• Will be coordinating and liaising with vendors, partners, support staff and/or the relevant government authorities to achieve project deliverables and for the successful accomplishment of the business goals. At the same time should be able to understand, strategize and coordinate the permitting works until delivery.
• Attend all Client, consultant, or contractor meetings as required to ensure successful delivery of the project. Attend commercial/budget meetings as necessary such as tender interviews, cost-cutting workshops, and value engineering meetings.
• Advise/assist client on M&E payment applications & variation orders.
• Evaluate the M&E contractor’s submissions, proposals, progress, and installation of M&E systems by contractors to confirm technical correctness.
• Ensure resource availability and allocation
• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
• Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
• Report and escalate to management as needed
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks and other related duties as assigned
• Capable to identify critical factors which will affect the outcome of a decision
• Evaluate options accurately and establish priorities

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
