Role Purpose
Handle day to day accounting function and monthly closing activities, which includes, but not limited to, general ledger accountability, financial reporting, as well as financial information analysis and other ad hoc projects assigned.
Main Accountabilities

• Responsible for day to day GL accounting operations, i.e. ensure accurate and timely sales collection.
• Responsible for preparing journal entries.
• Responsible for preparing monthly account schedules/Balance Sheet Reconciliations, analyse discrepancies and clear backlog/long outstanding items.
• Manage plastic bag charge collection submission to local authorities.
• Assist month-end financial statements analysis.
• Assist year-end audit and tax queries.
• Perform all other duties/projects assigned as required.

General

• To adhere and enforce all Company’s policies and procedures.
• Undertake/participate in any ad hoc projects or other relevant duties as assigned from time to time.

Knowledge and Experience
Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, in finance and accounting field.
• Fresh graduate or 1 year working experience in Accounting.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English.
• Candidate must possess own transport with valid driving license.
• Able to travel as when required.
