Responsible for end to end spectrum of Fire Fighting Engineer.
Responsibilities
1. Fire Protection System Design:

• Lead the design and development of fire protection systems, including sprinklers, fire alarms, smoke control, emergency exits, fire pumps, and gas suppression systems.
• Drawing designs, calculations, sketches and/or diagrams to help prevent fire or fire spread

2. Project Management:

• Oversee fire protection projects from concept through completion, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery while meeting all project specifications and regulatory requirements.

3. Risk Assessment & Safety Audits:

• Conduct fire risk assessments for buildings and facilities, identifying potential fire hazards and proposing effective fire protection measures.

4. Compliance & Standards:

• Ensure fire protection systems comply with local and international fire safety regulations and standards such as NFPA, BS, EN, and local codes.

5. Team Leadership:

• Supervise and mentor a team of fire protection engineers and technicians, providing technical guidance and ensuring high-quality project delivery.

6. Coordination with Stakeholders:

• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure the proper integration of fire protection systems into building designs.

7. Installation & Commissioning:

• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of fire protection systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications and regulatory requirements.

8. System Maintenance & Inspection:

• Establish and oversee routine maintenance and inspection schedules for fire protection systems to ensure long-term functionality and reliability.

9. Technical Support & Troubleshooting:

• Provide expert-level troubleshooting for complex fire protection system issues, offering solutions to resolve problems effectively.

10. Documentation & Reporting:

• Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and compliance reports related to fire protection systems.

11. Continuous Improvement:

• Propose improvements to fire safety processes, technologies, and systems to enhance efficiency and safety.

Requirements
i. Education level:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field

ii. Job Experience:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in fire protection engineering, with experience managing large-scale fire safety projects

iii. Specific skills & Computer Skills:

• Proficient in fire protection design software (Auto CAD, Revit, Fire CAD) and hydraulic calculation software.

iv. Personal characteristics:

• Well communication skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
• Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of fire safety standards and regulations, including NFPA, IFC, and other international fire safety codes.

• Malay, English must be professionally
• Mandarin (spoken, optional)
