Haulier Planner Coordinator

- This person primary responsibility is to plan/monitor container movement from the time ROT (Request of Transport) was created till the laden container loaded onto vessel.
- To ensure Container Movement report updated with latest information’s.
- Monitor container movement from the time ROT was created till container loaded on vessel.
- Create statistics of container volume.
- Close communication with warehouse team on stuffing performance so that all containers gated in port before closing date/time.
- Close communication with haulage team pertaining empty container deliveries to warehouse/factories.
- To ensure haulage team collects empty containers based on priority collections list.
- To follow up with liners/depots in case of any empty container rejection issues and communicates with haulage team on the arrangements.
- To ensure all empty containers details are updated in port systems (Northport and Westports).
- To ensure VGM’s are submitted to both Northport and Westports before laden containers gated into port.
- Close communication with haulage team on the port system updates and VGM submission to avoid haulage plan to send in the container to terminals without any port system updates and VGM submissions.
- Communicate with terminal personnel and liners on laden container early gate in applications. Ensure all laden containers with early gate in approval if the terminal yard is still close.
- To ensure buffer container seals are kept for all liners.
- Sending daily container movement reports (48 hours prior vessel closing) to all departments to ensure no service failures / miscommunications.
- Monitoring K2 declaration in port system to ensure the containers is released by custom officers.
- Performs other related duties as needed by department head.
- Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management
- Minimum two (2) year’s work experience in forwarding / logistics industry.
- Good communication skills, both writing and speaking in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel and Power Point).
- Service oriented, good interpersonal and communication skills.
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM2,500.00 per month
