Head, GLC & Public Sector

Primary Objective:
- Primary relationship manager of RHB Banking Group in managing a portfolio of GLC and Public Sector and large private sector clients
- Provide support to Head, GLC and Public Sector in all Group Wholesale Banking (GWB) initiatives and implementations
- Drive client acquisition, satisfaction and retention by ensuring appropriate service levels
- Grow market share and share of customers’ wallets for all products (IB, treasury, Islamic, etc.)
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure to procure mandates deals and market RHBIB and GWB’s products and services to existing and prospective clients in order to increase revenue
- Provide timely and effective service i.e. giving professional and sound advice to clients
- To keep abreast with the latest developments in the rules, regulations and guidelines governing the domestic capital market as well as the changes in the macro-economy of the market place
- To liaise effectively with other business units to enable the delivery of the best products and services to meet clients’ (both the company and shareholders) objectives
- To maintain good rapport and business relationship with all clients and expanding networking with objective to secure more business opportunities
- To review pitches, proposals and reports prepared by those under supervision
- To train and guide those under supervision
Bachelor Degree - • Bachelor Degree or Professional Qualification in Accounting, Finance or related areas.
- • Possess Capital Markets Services Representative's License (CMSRL)
Minimum of 6-8 years’ experience in corporate or Investment banking at an established financial institution
- Proven track record of hitting sales targets and managing high value client relationships in corporate or investment banking
- Ability to work across SBUs; Be a team player
- Excellent interpersonal, selling & relationship building skills
