Role Summary :
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Property Development to lead and oversee the strategic planning, development, and execution of real estate projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Malaysian real estate market, proven leadership skills, and a strong ability to manage multiple large-scale projects from concept to completion, ensuring quality, cost-efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities :
· Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement long-term property development strategies aligned with the company’s vision and goals.
· Project Management: Oversee all phases of property development, including feasibility studies, land acquisition, planning, design, construction, and sales.
· Budgeting & Financial Management: Prepare and manage project budgets, ensure cost control, and deliver projects within approved financial parameters.
· Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, consultants, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
· Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify new development opportunities, stay ahead of industry trends, and guide investment decisions.
· Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all projects comply with local regulations, environmental standards, and legal requirements.
· Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the property development team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
Key Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., MRICS) is an advantage.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in property development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of the Malaysian real estate market, land use planning, and local regulatory requirements.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in project budgeting and cost management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Preferred Skills :
- Proven ability to lead large, complex real estate projects from inception to completion.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government authorities and business partners.
