Responsibilities:
1) Assist the Head of Department in drafting and negotiation of corporate, commercial and technical agreements (procurement and revenue agreements, joint ventures agreements, shareholders agreement).
2) Assist the Head of Department in formulation, interpretation and implementation of the Company’s policies to ensure consistency and compliance with corporate governance, contractual obligations, applicable laws and industry practice/standards.
3) Liaising with external regulators and advisers, such as Companies Commission of Malaysia, Inland Revenue Board, Customs Department, lawyers, auditors and Company Secretary.
4) Assist in Company Secretarial matters, which includes, liaising with the Company Secretary to organize, prepare and collate agendas for meetings, circular resolutions and related documents.
Requirements:
a) Bachelor of Laws degree with 2-3 years of working experience (legal practice or in-house counsel)
b) Experience in the oil and gas industry or related engineering field is an advantage and well versed in commercial & corporate agreements
c) Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and other relevant applications and internet savvy plus interpersonal skill
d) Excellent command of English.
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: From RM3,000.00 per month
