Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with TNB, DOSH, JKKP, Suruhanjaya Tenaga, and other regulatory bodies on approvals, registration/certifications, utility services, and compliance issues, ensuring statutory compliance to applicable laws.
• To carry out scheduled and unscheduled inspections, repair, corrective, and preventive maintenance tasks on all switchboards, circuit breakers, transformers, switch gears, and cleanliness of all High Voltage, Low Voltage, generators room, chiller plant room, etc.
• To ensure all mechanical & electrical installation and services (escalators, elevators, BAS, Fire Alarm System, Fire Fighting System, Lighting, etc) and maintenances are safe, correct, legal, and in compliance with the authorities.
• To carry out monthly testing of the Fire Alarm system or as directed by the Building Manager and to attend and assist, where necessary, in all electricals and Bomba Facilities Inspections.
• To supervise and ensure all scheduled services are in operation accordingly or in compliance with instructions issued by the Building Manager or authorized/assigned officers of the Company.
• To supervise and ensure appointed maintenance contractors carry out their works satisfactorily in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommended service & maintenance standards for mechanical and electrical services such as chiller systems, cooling towers, pump motors, and air handling units (AHU’s), etc.
• To manage and ensure all activities are in accordance with the company’s Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
• Preparation of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports. To prepare and submit any reports as required by TNB, DOSH, JKKP, Suruhanjaya Tenaga, and other regulatory bodies as required.
• Effectively present information and reports to the management. Manage, execute and perform any and all instructions from the management, senior management, and Board of Directors from time to time.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Must possess BO Chargeman Certificate issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga Malaysia

Relevant Experience

• At least eight (8) years of working experience in Facility and Maintenance field.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge in Electrical Supply Act, Suruhanjaya Tenaga Regulations, IEE Wiring Requirement etc.
• Knowledge in facility mechanical system troubleshooting and operation.
• Knowledge in ISO 14001 will be an added advantage

Behavioral Competency

• Able to work with others and possess good interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision and under tight schedules and deadlines.
• Good communication skills. Fluent to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and verbal).

Pay: RM6,800.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
