Manager/Senior Executive - Business Finance (Property)

We are seeking a talented individual to lead and deliver end-to-end property finance-related tasks to internal and external customers and stakeholders, in a non-judgmental and flexible way while ensuring their varying needs are met while adhering to proper governance compliant to Board and Management policies, standard operating procedures of the employer, regulatory bodies and appropriate authorities. This role reports to the Head of Finance and the successful candidate will be based in Menara Hong Leong, Damansara City.

Finance/Accounting Procedures, Financial Control & Reporting:

• Actively involved in assisting the Group FP&A's reporting activities (closing activities, reconciliation, preparation of accruals and management reporting).
• Work closely with the various stakeholder within PMD and group finance teams to ensure smooth closing and all reporting requirements are met (including data quality).
• Prepare all the schedules/listing (rentals, maintenance fees and etc), monthly opex reports including but not limited to reporting and analysis for management team and the Group Finance team.
• Lead in the preparation of closing, monthly reports and presentations for the management and submission to Group Finance.
• Support of any cost, finance or accounting tasks (evaluation, analysis, review, reporting and presentation) whenever necessary and provide guidance to function heads of the property department.
• Assist in the preparation, monitoring and reporting of PFM's budgets, forecasts and cost allocations as well as of proposal and recommendation memos for Management, Board Audit Committee and/or Board of Director approval in relation to property finance matters;
• Involve in reconciliation and aging of general ledger, balance sheet accounts under the purview of PFM.
• To support resolutions of gaps found in weekly and monthly billing vs collection, ageing and variance reports.
• To meet organization goals by demonstrating ownership and accountability when accomplishing new or routine tasks assigned and adding value to the departmental performance.
• To fulfil any ad-hoc tasks and reports related to property finance and administration from time to time
  as instructed by supervisors;

Job Requirements:

Education/Qualification

• Malaysian citizen
• Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent holder.
• 3 years and above work experience in the related field is required for this position (preferably in the property industry).
• Skilled in accounts receivables, payables and P&L management.

Experience & Skillsets

• Skilled in using MS Office and excellent both (written and verbal communication) skills.
• Well-versed in property finance or finance and accounting principles with skilled at analyzing, evaluating options and generating solutions;.
• Analytical and solution oriented.
• Self-motivated, hardworking with ability to work independently.
• Attention to details is a must.
