Position Summary
The Microsoft Security Business Manager is responsible for regional implementation of programs and offers to achieve Microsoft Security goals across Pax8 APAC. This role will support regional Sure Step and Pax8 Teams in activating, assessing, and scaling security solution sales through cross-collaborative enablement and events. Stakeholders maintain cadence with global Solutions teams, and Microsoft counterparts, regarding sales targets, regional pain points, and Partner efforts.

This role is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Essential Responsibilities (includes, but is not limited to):

• Serve as a strategic sponsor of the relationship between Microsoft Security and Pax8.
• Contribute to & implement a yearly fiscal plan to achieve targeted Microsoft goals and unlock funding.
• Support & deployment of programs, processes, offers, and incentives to assist regions in accelerating sales.
• Provide target insights, sales progress, and tools to regions from Microsoft and Pax8 Experience Teams.
• Support regional teams to enable security initiatives while gathering feedback and performance insights.
• Support regional security events: Labs, Webinars, Bootcamps, and Enablement Sessions.
• Deliver Security solution and sales play training and readiness to Pax8 teams and directly to Partners.
• Attend industry and training events on behalf of Pax8 + Microsoft's brand+ Work cross-functionally with other key business groups to:
  • Deliver any meaningful Modern Workplace updates from Microsoft
  • Maintain Modern Workplace collateral on internal and external pages
  • Highlight MDF efficacy
• Prior sales or training experience with M365 or Microsoft Security tools.
• Ability to hold regular feedback cadence across regional teams from Pax8 + Microsoft .
• Ability to travel when necessary for Pax8, Microsoft, or industry events.
• Ability to provide Security solution performance insights to Pax8 + Microsoft for the region represented.
• Ability to work cross-collaboratively across different team types, regions, and business groups in a way the positively represents the partnership of Pax8 + Microsoft

Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:

• At least five (5) years of experience in Microsoft Sales, preferably IT Channel Sales.
• At least two (2) years of experience in account management, with quote-to-cash process experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft cloud products and Saa S product experience – selling, handling, processing.
• Knowledge and deep technical understanding of Microsoft Partner ecosystem (Cloud, Products and Offerings).
• Proven business acumen and the ability to be socially aware of others' personal drivers.
• Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Partner Network.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to facilitate meetings, trainings, and presentations.
• High level of organizational skills and high level of project management skills.
