Task Description.
Campaigning Support:

• Help develop campaign outreach and engagement strategies to raise awareness and drive action.
• Contribute to social media and website content regarding campaign updates.
• Assist with the planning and execution of decentralized activism training in November 2024.

Administrative Tasks:

• Take notes during meetings
• Help draft emails, press releases, content copy, and campaign creatives

On-Ground Activity Engagement:

• Support in planning and executing fundraising booths to improve engagement.
• Support in executing launches tentatively in January 2025.
• Coordinate between vendors and stakeholders.

Requirement:

• Ability to multitask, handle ad hoc work, and collaborate effectively with stakeholders and the team
• Capable of working independently as well as part of a team
• Strong communication skills
• Experienced in planning, organizing, and implementing public events
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in another commonly used language in Malaysia is an advantage
• Educational background, interest, or knowledge in environmental studies, energy transition, or public policy
• Experience in event management and campaigning
• Ability to travel (optional: own transportation)
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply

Contract length: 6 months
Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
