Qualifications:
PMP/ITIL-Certified
Software Deployment Project experience is mandatory

Duties & Responsibilities:

• To work with Sales to comprehend customer solution deliverables to be deployed and schedule committed.
• To plan the fulfilment of the projects with complete work breakdown structure as per man-days quoted and target completion/go-live dates.
• Collaborate with relevant team members, where required, to review tasks & timelines associated for each WBS deliverable to ensure what is expected is understood and aligned with all relevant parties including customer/partner.
• To take the lead to plan and initiate Project Kick-Off Meetings once project is awarded.
• To work with project team members to ensure all project documents are compiled which includes: - Functional Specifications, Technical Specifications, List of Assumptions, Issue/Risk Register, Change Management Plan, Gant Chart (or equivalent) and any other project documents deemed mandatory by customer as well as add-on documentation deemed necessary due to nature of project.
• Schedule/Attend weekly project meetings with customer/partners to ensure all parties are doing their part to ensure the project timelines are upheld.
• Monitor project progress closely to ensure project assumptions, project risks, and potential delays and up-to-date action ownership and target date to address them are highlighted immediately and noted in meeting minutes.
• Identify alternative plans or contingency plans to ensure the project can shift gears with minimal effort/disruption and prevent recurrence.
• Work with project team to implement corrective actions quickly to address problems. Initiate preventive actions to prevent the same problem from recurring.
• Maintain accurate project minutes to ensure all parties are aware of their accountability and deliverables for the success of the project.
• Conduct weekly update sessions with leadership and project team members to ensure all are aligned about:

o what has changed for the projects.
o pre-alerts for any foreseen challenges, issues, or delays.
o immediate week deliverables, projected duration and target completion dates/time.

• Continuously monitor project team leads to ensure status of each project deliverables is known and aligned.
• Escalate to leadership any potential delays, if necessary.
• Continuously maintain up to date project documentation for easy online reference by others. Always ensure your backup is aligned and uptodate.
• Manage changes as per pre-agreed Change Management Plan that was accepted by the customer at the start of the project. This plan must allow for an agreement to be reached by the various parties and sets a deadline for their implementation.
• At the end of the project, compile/highlight back to Sales:

o project deliverables which could not be fulfilled as per initial man-days proposed by Sales.
o challenges face with customer/partner which can be improved/avoided if expectation was set upfront earlier.

• Continuously self-learn to enhance skills, share knowledge and experiences as well as explore new methods of managing project deliverables more effectively together with the team.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
