Digital Transformation & Smart Factory Department (Location: Petaling Jaya)
To learn, develop and enhance the Historian System in our plant as part of the Smart Factory initiative in CIMA. This will help our Management ,Plant Managers and Engineers to increase productivity and efficiency.
This 12 month trainee role is an excellent opportunity for individuals aspiring to build a solid foundation in their chosen field by actively participating in real-world projects. The challenging and stimulating environment, coupled with the guidance of seasoned mentors, aims to equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary for a successful career trajectory.
· Learning and Development:
o Undergo comprehensive training to understand the core principles, architecture, and functionalities of the Historian system.
· System Development:
o Collaborate with experienced engineers to design, code, and test features and enhancements for the Historian system.
· Testing and Quality Assurance:
o Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance procedures to identify and rectify any potential issues or bugs in the Historian system.
· Team Collaboration:
o Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of the Ignition Historian system with other components of our industrial automation platform.
Participate actively in team meetings, discussions, and project planning sessions
Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Perl, or other relevant scripting language
• Familiarity with databases and data storage technologies, particularly in the context of real-time data handling and historian systems.
• Knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive attitude towards taking on new challenges
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
